Itchy skin - Nothing Helps. I have an itch. It starts from the small of the back where the buttocks begins. That exact spot nothing helps, except cortizone lotion. Then the Itch works its way up my entire back. I tried Alegra, Claritin, Gold Bond Powder,
lotion from the dermatoligst, and the best over the counter products. Nothing really helps form more than a few hours. Please help I am not able to sleep.

Maybe its a fungus like ringworm or a parasite like scabies. You would need different medication for those. Go back to the dermatologist.
Reply:Ugh, I've had the same problem. Sadly, I found nothing that helped treat the itch either. Mine went away all of a sudden, after two days...it was strange.

Reply:do you have bumps where it itches? i also have that problem it just come and go, but when i tried putting body oil every after bath, wow!! itch be gone! and it smells good too!! try nutrogena body oil!! ooppsss i have a dry skin so i just moisturized it!!
