Please help me figure out why my skin is so itchy?

about 2 weeks ago, i undertook a major cleaning of my house. Ever since then, every day I am finding anywhere from 2 to 6 new spots of itchy skin. I do have allergies to dust and everything associated with it. I have tried everything I can think of from washing all of my linens/slip covers for the furniture to actually taking the shop vac to my furniture (including my bed). I can't stop scratching!! It's driving me crazy... I appear to be the only one getting these, my fiance doesn't have anything on him. I've been doing some research and these bites resemble bed bugs but I don't know where they would have come from. I shower on a regular basis... I don't know what else to do... I haven't changed my diet or anything. Could I have developed an allergy to my laundry detergent even though it's the same one I have always used? What else could it be?? I haven't been able to get to my dr's b/c his schedule is basically the same as my work schedule.... HELP PLEASE!

1. You might have been exposed to dustmites when you cleaned your house. These dustmites continue to thrive or float in the air even if we have already wiped clean our house. You can try to use de-humidifiers or other sprays that have allergen trappers.

2. It could be your detergent. Most allergies are developed over time not inborn. Since you have always used that laundry detergent, it is highly possible that you have developed an allergic reaction to it. Try to change your detergent. And avoid fragrant soaps or detergents as these are common allergens. Also, try to stop your use of fabric softener (if you use one) and see if the itching stops.

3. It can also be because of your bath soap. Try using hypoallergenic or baby bath soaps.

4. Or it can also be your body lotion. Try switching to hypoallergenic or unscented lotions.

5. Check out your diet too. What have you been eating lately? Try to list down what you eat everyday and the allergic reactions that you have (mild or worse). Most common food allergens are chicken, chocolate, nuts and seafoods.
