Anyone have a cure for itchy skin?
The Homeopathy SULFUR works the best on all sorts of itching take it thrice a day in 30C potency take it for three days and let me know her progress and symptoms after three days.

Take Care and God Bless !
Reply:Aveno oatmeal baths and oatmeal lotion. Also, try switching to a milder bath soap and laundry soap. We use Dove for sensitive skin and wash clothes with All Baby and it seems to help our family. Good luck.
Reply:Try some oatmeal in a lukewarm bath - add some large flake slow cooking oatmeal to you bath, let it sit while it cools, and then bask in the luxuriousness of it all. White vinegar can also decrease itchiness and irritation - as can baking soda. You can put those into a (separate) bath, or dilute them with water and spritz or wipe onto the skin.

Ingesting coconut oil can help too, if dryness is an issue.
Reply:From the prescription of doctor it seems that your wife does not have any thing serious. She may have hypersensitive skin. For such skin you need to have some form of emolients. One of this you can make at home; To 60 Gm of good quality Petroleum Jelly (this is roughly 4 tablespoonful) add 20 Gm of Nerisone fatty ointment, mix it well and apply a thin layer over the body 01 hour before you plan to sleep. Also apply after taking bath before fully drying the body(just remove extra water from the body by wiping lightly). In this way she will retain moisture in the skin.

Take Tsblet Citrazine(Zyrtec) before going to bed.

Use cotton bedding.

I hope this will help.
Reply:I use Cetirizine Dihydrochloride (Zirtec) tablets (they are anti-histimine) and use an emollient on the itchy parts in the shower.either no talc or moisturising talc.

E45 cream can help

Been there done that its absolutely awful

are your legs swollen as in the skin stretched and shiny this is water retention and can make the itching worse

hope you get sorted soon babes

Just thought i would mention that i have a wheat bag that i used to use to keep warm at night you know the sort you warm in the microwave BIG MISTAKE took days to stop itching after using that
Reply:The best cure for itchy skin is just moisturization. I know it sounds all too simple, but skin itches because it is too dry. Use a hypoallergenic lotion like Cetaphil and use the cream if she is especially dry. Make sure to get cream or lotion all over your body within three minutes of getting out of the shower to seal in the moisture. It will work wonders! :)
Reply:my daughter has got dietry problems which create itchy skin. she is prescribed a antihystimin. and moisturiser. keep the rooms cool. heat makes it worse as i am sure you may have found out. eating fish helps my daughters skin also. and pure vegetable soap. and shampoo
Reply:I have the same problem. Doc put me on Zyrtec, it's an antihistamine, better than over the counter stuff. Haven't had a problem since!! The over the counter stuff makes me hyper (even benadryl) so I was glad the Zyrtec works!! I take it at bedtime with no weird reactions.
