he is 75 years old and is in otherwise healthy shape...
the only thing that bothers him is constant dry itchy skin. i have bought him so many different lotions and potions.
do you know of anything that would help him??

My father has very ITCHY skin???????
a big problem in the elderly. is he on any meds that might be causing more itching? how about the laundry soap he uses? try stuff made for babies for his clothes and sheets etc.
have him dab some good old vegetable or nut oil (almond is good) on his skin after he gets out of his shower instead of lotion that might be full of junk he doesn't need. (watch for slipping though!)
how about 1-2 fish oil capsules per day? take him to a dermatologist or geri doc.
